4.1 On Discovering a Fire

  1. Activate the nearest fire alarm call point.
  2. If trained and safe to do so, attempt to extinguish the fire with a suitable extinguisher.
  3. If the fire is uncontrollable, evacuate immediately via the nearest safe exit route.
  4. Do NOT use elevators.
  5. Proceed to the designated assembly point.

4.2 Medical Emergency

  1. Assess the scene for any dangers to yourself before approaching.
  2. Call for a First Aider and the Emergency Coordinator.
  3. Provide the patient's location and the nature of the injury/illness.
  4. Do not move an injured person unless they are in immediate danger.

5. Evacuation Procedures

5.1 Evacuation Signal

The evacuation signal is a [continuous siren / intermittent bell / etc.]. Upon hearing the signal, all personnel must cease work and evacuate immediately.

5.2 Evacuation Routes & Assembly Points
