2. Our Commitments

• Regular Inspections: To conduct regular, planned inspections of all workplaces, equipment, and processes to identify and correct unsafe conditions and acts.
• Systematic Audits: To conduct periodic, objective audits of our OHS management system to verify compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
• Competence: To ensure that inspections and audits are carried out by persons who are competent and, where required, independent of the area being assessed.
• Action Tracking: To ensure that all findings from inspections and audits are documented, assigned for corrective action, and tracked to completion in a timely manner.

3. Roles & Responsibilities

• Top Management: Is responsible for ensuring that the audit and inspection program is resourced and for reviewing its overall effectiveness.
• OHS Manager: Is responsible for developing and managing the annual audit and inspection schedule, and for ensuring auditors and inspectors are competent.
• Line Managers: Are responsible for facilitating inspections and audits in their areas of control and for implementing the required corrective actions.
• Employees & H&S Representatives: Are encouraged to participate in workplace inspections and to cooperate fully with auditors.

4. Policy Review

This OHS Audit and Inspection Policy will be reviewed at least every two years to ensure its ongoing suitability.
