Evacuation Plan

1. Purpose and Scope

This plan details the procedures for the safe and orderly evacuation of all personnel from [Site/Building Name] in the event of a fire or other emergency. It applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors.

2. Evacuation Procedure

  1. On hearing the continuous alarm signal (or on instruction from a Fire Warden): Stop work immediately and prepare to evacuate.
  2. Do not collect personal belongings.
  3. Proceed calmly to the nearest, safest emergency exit. DO NOT USE LIFTS.
  4. Assist any persons with disabilities or visitors to evacuate.
  5. Once outside, proceed directly to the designated Primary Assembly Point.
  6. Report to your designated Fire Warden / Supervisor at the assembly point for a head count.
  7. Do not re-enter the building until the "all clear" has been given by the Emergency Coordinator or the Fire Department.
